Not Easy

Today I was going to use the exercise bike at work. Granted I would have to use it in the morning during some "off" time. I had to leave right after work.

It was available but, "Have you been trained yet for the fitness room?"

Uggghh!!! I've used just about every machine in there at one time or another. I've had memberships in gyms, endured the basics a few times already. I'm a varsity coach and official. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR. I know where the defibrilator is. I'm good.

It's an insurance thing.

Instead I ran.It hurt.

Today's exercise: 27 minutes jog/walk/jog/walk
3 sets of 15 pushups/25 crunches

  1. I'm glad that you know how to use a defibrilator. You might need it, you know. And didn't you know that our fitness room here is a SPECIAL room? There is not possible WAY that you could know how to use the equipment, you silly man.

I hate running. I'd much rather use the elliptical or bike or swim or, well, do anything but run. I don't have a problem with running as long as it's focused on achieving something, like the game of basketball, softball, or tennis. Know what I mean?

  2. Re. running: Absolutely. One reason for running I'd like to add to your list: fleeing from predators.

  3. Are you threatening me? Should I be WORRIED about having to flee from predators? 'Cause I gotta tell ya...I just don't know how fast my fleeing would be in my current state. ;) How far do you run? Do you listen to music? How do you pass the time while running? I'm a multi-tasker, so I'd definitely want to be doing something while running...isn't that silly?

By the way, I have noticed that you have NOT posted a single response to our blog. Sniffle sniffle.
